COMPLETELY RANDOM SHIT
COMPLETELY RANDOM SHIT
THIS PAGE IS A JUNKYARD OF STUFF
THAT I’VE MADE OVER THE YEARS.
KYLE’S RADIO HOUR
-
One time I took the aux at my agency for an hour and acted like I had my own radio show. I cut promos using Cameo with some BIG names. You couldn’t knock the music, though.
NEWFIELDS APP
-
We heard in our research that folks have a hard time knowing what to do once they get to an art museum. In an effort to fix that, we created this conceptual app for Newfields that aggregates custom art, nature & programming tours around the campus based on the user’s interests, music choices, or the cultural topic of the day. That way, no two visits to the campus are ever the same. It died, but I still like the thought.
OLD FARM BUREAU IMPROV 15s
-
These are old improvised 15s from a Farm Bureau campaign. It felt like overkill to have them on the campaign page but I just love em so much I couldn’t leave them out completely.
NUM TOGETHER
-
During Covid 19, our agency did a big conference call where one of us cooked something. Essentially I just waited for something funny to happen and cut it together for social content. Also got to draw some food and do a tiny little branding project.
-
One of my biggest pet peeves is going to get coffee only to find an empty pot. In an effort to combat that, a team of us built a website using data from a digital sensor that the machine was plugged into. Funny enough, after some time, we also got data about the overall coffee intake of the agency, which became fun social fodder. The 8-bit style animations were super fun to make.
YMCA BONUS PHOTOGRAPHY
-
These are outtakes from the YMCA photography set that we shot with Joe Swide.
HELLO SPRING AT NEWFIELDS
-
Newfields has a spring blooms festival every year. The groundskeepers meticulously curate the property, which changes non-stop throughout the season.
We were tasked with creating a mini-identity for the event. The trouble was, we didn’t have much of a budget, or many assets to use outside of some photos of flowers & a few pieces of art. Our solution was to create this collage artstyle that changed constantly and visually reflected the flora that was growing at the time. The organic shapes and color paired with a very mechanical animation style ended up really weird and really interesting.
INDIANAPOLIS 500
-
I made this to try to make my dad cry.
SCHLAGE
-
Really early in my career, during a pitch I edited a little rip-o essence video for Schlage. Not only did it help win the business, but the team also made it into a tv spot.
THE SCRAPYARD
-
….This is like the little back area where they stack the pancaked vehicles.
